Tours Basilica Plaques

The Basilica of Tours explains important events from The Life of St Martin by Sulpicius Severus in a set of seven plaques displayed in 2016, for the 1700th anniversary of Martin’s birth.

Tours Cathedral Choir Window

The Saint Gatien Cathedral of Tours, France has two sets of windows that depict scenes from The Life of St Martin by Sulpicius Severus. One set, made up of 18 medallions, can be found among the high choir windows. Windows in France are read from the bottom left to the upper right. Descriptions for each panel were provided on displays set up by the cathedral in 2016, for the 1700th anniversary of Martin’s birth.
